This area of dunes and beach is so important to so many families for fishing, camping, 4x4 and enjoying our natural environment.

i haven't even been there yet and it closed ! the local Aussie Gov. needs to hardened the fuck up it only one way aww big deal . People have been using that road for years. It is a part off the 4x4ing community and local community . why take something that means so much to the people>driving off road is the same as on road, just more off a chance to get bogged off road !!!!!!!!! jeep jeep

From my trips there, these beaches and dunes North of Two Rocks town centre are used by 2 groups of people : 4WD enthusiasts and fisherman (who also use their 4WD to get there of course). Blocking this access road will therefore block the only people who actually use this beach. It seems crazy to me, unless there are other motives or a hidden agenda. I agree that 4WD safety could be improved by requiring sand flags and ensuring all tracks are one way or wide enough to 2 vehicles (where possible). How about spending some of our rates funds on providing and improving the beach 4WD facilities ? - instead of treating us all as criminals.

Access to the beach for fishing is something that we all should be able to enjoy. Locking our own country away from us is ridiculous.

We need places like this close to perth so we dont have to drive 8 hrs just to find a nice spot to take the family camping!
