Good Day Residents

As per the mail sent out the community needs to vote/comment regarding the D'Urbanvale entrances.

The meeting held on the 11th June 2013 in Chesterhouse there were 3 options placed on the table namely,

1 - That council maintain the structures for 3 years to enable the community to structure themselves and then to take over full liability and maintenance(future expansion of services will still require demolition)

2 - The original developer be approached to remedy the illegal structures at his expense (it was acknowledged that this would be legally difficult and the results is highly unlikely

3 -That the structures be demolished and the entrance walls be "upgraded" to form an aesthetically acceptable replacement of the lost entrance façade (will require proposals and feedback to the community)

At the council meeting (2 September 2013) it was suggested that if there are any residents that are architects, draughtsman etc and they would like to be involved this would be most welcome. If there is that interest please contact me at gsieraha@gmail.com or 082 490 7628.

VOTING/COMMENTS WILL CLOSE ON 3 OCTOBER 2013.

Regards

George Sieraha
