As a disabled veteran with limited income, the fees have made it impossible for us to utilize this service. It would be a blessing

Newton County just wants the extra money this gives them each year they are not only charging more and more they have also cut back hours so they are not paying the workers less. This needs to be addressed by the citizens of Newton County not the government telling the citizens this is what they will pay period

This fee has reached too far into our pockets. As a Newton County taxpayer, homeowner and sales, we feel it is necessary for the county to reduce this burden on our families who have special needs or are on fixed income.

Drop the fees for seniors and low income residents. The fee is too high

Yes, the fees are too high. We seniors need a break financially any way possible. Have we not paid our share of taxes through the decades?

These fees would not have been needed if people from Jasper and Rockdale Co. jhad been stopped form using the centers. Drop fees for seniors!

Dumps are consistently full, especially in the summer. Why is a person being paid to man a full trash compactor? Why isn’t the compactor emptied more regularly? Why pay $155/yr when curb service is available for only a few more dollars?

It is a hardship when you are living on social security. Medicare and all other insurance is continuing to go up also

Dump fees are unfair.

This is causing a lot of illegal dumping on businesses who are now have to pay for the extra trash dumped on their property.
