This is a bad deal for Maine. CMP and Governor Mills only care about what they will make for money on this deal and not what they will be destroying for future generations. This is nothing but selfish greed. Shame in them!

In a two person household.. my electric bill has *doubled* over the past 5 years.. and this is insane. Retiring in Maine will be a challenge.. we may be moving if this doesn't get addressed.. corporate exploitation and dispossession.. it has to END. We need public owned power and go to renewables. The bills are deliberately complex. This is nothing but corporate scamming.. just like the oligarchs taking over America.. they need to be dumped and STop owning our natural resources, too.. they belong to We The people. REVOKE CMP AUTHORITY.. PUBLIC UTILITY .. PERIOD! Get these crooks out of our lives.

It's time to start up small businesses that install residential solar, small turbines and geothermal to get as much power off the unreliable grid as possible and cut carbon emissions while creating permanent local jobs across our very rural state. End power corporation dependency altogether, they don't have to be the end all here now.
