CMP has monumental billing issues, among the worst in the nation reliability issues, coarse and confrontive customer service, unrelenting rate increases, a corridor that is not clean nor good for Maine and a culture of deceit, trickery, manipulation and bullying. CMP is unfit to serve Maine customers. It is time to revoke CMP's authority to operate in the State of Maine and replace with a reputable company to provide customers with reliable and affordable electricity. MPUC has the power to do this. statute 35-A MRS § 1511 – “The commission may, in an adjudicatory proceeding, suspend or revoke the authority of a public utility to provide service upon a finding that the public utility is unfit to provide safe, adequate and reliable service at rates that are just and reasonable. We the undersigned request the MPUC revoke CMP's authority and replace with an fit and able private or consumer owned utility with customer focus at the forefront.

Iberdrola /Avangrid / CMP refuses to focus on what is most important (it's CUSTOMERS) and resolve outstanding issues, yet they forge ahead with a profit making project that will NOT help Maine's electrical infrastructure in any way, and will destroy portions of her Western Mountain region.

I expect the Public Advocate and PUC to look out for the people of Maine against an unscrupulous power company monopoly like CMP, which both have done the opposite. This leaves the people to take action ourselves to DO THEIR JOBS. CMP need to be reprimanded for their abuse of the Maine people.

Paying an outside contractor to control our power is like hiring someone to decide what to do with the profits. The tax payer is on the line for infrastructure and new lines. The only thing this private investor does is decide where to spend the surplus. We would be much better off running it ourselves.

CMP screwed me. After months of try to reach them regarding missing bills. Finally got a bill charging me over $3200.00. I had to pay this I run a catering business a The loss of spoiled foods would have shut me down permanently . They had a gun to my head!!! Screw CMP.

$1061.00 bill with no one home for 9 days. Every month for months it has been going up. Due to automatic payments I didn’t realize this as I HAD enough for 3 months for all bills. When the bank called I was over drawn I was stunned to learn why.

They are no longer CMP. CMP is long gone. They are Avangrid and Iberdola and they have abused their Maine customers long enough. They have not conducted their electric monopoly business ethically and it's past time for them to be thrown out of Maine. Mainers deserve better.

This idea cmp has is just an all around BAD idea. They are only looking for more money and do not care about the people, wildlife, wetlands or streams. This needs to be stopped.

CMP with the support of some Maine politicians are dragging us Mainers through the coals and are attempting to do the same to our pristine Forest! All for profit. Dump CMP
