We, the signatories support the future induction of the Dead Ball Era candidate, William “Dummy” Hoy to influence the Veterans Committee to consider a great Deaf ballplayer, the best base-runner and defensive player of their time and the changing of the baseball scene such as hand-signal “Strike! You are Out!”.
