Dumbo Subway Extension

I've been taking the F train in Brooklyn for over 20 years. Though I live further out than York, I've used that stop, and as developers keeping on building without let up in Dumbo (and elsewhere) the York Ave stop is now so dangerously overcrowded, it's a death trap with one way out. It's not the stop it used to be. The obvious solution: more exits.

Elected officials should pay as much attention to infrastructure as they do to promoting massive development projects. We need another F entrance.

Extremely dangerous with only 1 exit at an overcrowded train stop... And more people moving to the neighborhood by the second. Someone will get trampled if another exit is not added.

Great work. This one way out station poses a danger especially during rush hours. It should be on the MTA's priority list.

I use this station for work and it is definitely crowded. I’m surprised it is legal to have only one exit point.

2nd entrance to this subway station is not a luxury, it's just common sense feature for the sake of safety of subway riders

The station gets so crowded and terrifying at rush hour, especially if there are any train delays.

I work in the neighborhood and its a hassle. Its stairs, then a long hill passage and then another flight stairs Lots of families live in the neighborhood and its ineffective for them with strollers. I would suggest 4 escalators: 2 up & down. Addition, with the upcoming condos in the neighborhood its going to cause accidents.

Trying to get through that long hallway at rush hour feels like running a gauntlet. I couldn't imagine what it would be like in an emergency situation. A secondary entrance/exit isn't just smart, it's VITAL,.

This is so obviously needed that it shouldn't even require discussion.
