We NEED a better way to exit/enter this station. I won’t use it until that happens — way too scary now, and extra-problematic with my mobility issues.

I have a disability that keeps me from walking far and I frequently go to this station because of work. Currently it is anxiety inducing considering the large number of people that get spit out onto a narrow sidewalk and congested vehicle area. I support this proposal!

I have to get my cello there - luthier is on Water St. The Park Slope F train now has elevators, but I can't manage York St.

Brilliant remedy! Please do this asap and fix this dangerous single exit situation.

A brilliant form and function proposal for our dangerous! single subway stop in Dumbo. Can funding from the Inflation Reduction Act of '22 help cover costs? Seems this cannot happen soon enough + likely wouldn't interfere with usage since it's an additional exit.

I concur with this suggested addition! It is a must have, or shall we wait until a future headline of "Fiery deaths at York" which rival preventable tragedies like the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire before an additional portal is made?

This is a brilliant plan! As noted, a congested, dangerous situation that needs a remedy, asap. I walk through Manhattan Bridge Small Park on my walking commute across the Manhattan Bridge, I would welcome this F train subway entrance to "my park"!

This is of major importance to ALL who live or visit this area.

As a school crossing guard, I am concerned for the safety of children crossing the street with so much traffic and construction in the area. A second exit would alleviate the risks by 50%.

Agreed. It's a dangerous situation waiting to happen at the York St. Station, not to mention that it's a chore to travel through. For some, it's impossible to use. Time to fix it!

I try to limit using the York Steet station as I get anxiety with the movement of people in and out of the station.
