To: The Florida State Legislature We demand that you repeal or amend Section 322.126(2), (3), Florida Statutes, that allows anyone to anonymously report any individual as being unfit to drive on Florida’s roadways and remain free from civil and/or criminal liability. Although the law is intended to allow family members, physicians, and concerned citizens to report unsafe drivers without fear of personal or professional complication or fear of retribution, the potential for abuse is enormous. This provision can allow anyone to embarrass or harass innocent Floridians.
