Bloody ridiculous that the kids have these decent facilities at their disposal yet have to look through a fence at them. WDC really needs to follow the lead of other countires in investing in the youth of the community. If they are there playing sport, they are not on the streets making mischief.

common sense needs to be applied. Ours kids need to be able to train with the appropriate facilities.

local teams need the support of WDC in being active in safe environments. DR used DA without problems pre new school and it a shame the pitches are lying unused outwith school hrs when they could be generating income for WDC instead of clubs paying private lets. All councils should support and help kids stay active

It is a waste that the pitches are not being used out with school hours. Kids need facilities and these facilities are already there but are being under-utilised.

This would be a great opportunity for the locals. I personally live near dumbarton academy and its a shame that these pitches aren't getting used for the local community.

Ridiculous that one to two people who have lived next to two schools and a bowling club can prevent young kids from gaining access to these facilities

give the community what it deserves, locking away a clear asset from the people I'm the whole area is simply criminal

the community is being denied the use of first class facilities that they paid for and continue to pay for due to a rushed planning application. This must be changed
