I am not a Mental Health Practitioner. I have been misdiagnosed and treated over the past 15 years.

The DSM-V and its bogus criteria affect not just the United States but the entire world. I am a University student and I am disgusted by the fact that I have to study something that is so poorly researched as something that is the main criteria for pretty much every psychiatric diagnosis in Western medicine. This publication is clearly a shilling machine for major pharmaceutical companies [https://www.newscientist.com/article/dn21580-many-authors-of-psychiatry-bible-have-industry-ties/]. Down with Big Pharma!

Many years ago I was a CD Counselor and am appalled at theses changes. This is either very devious or a written by nostradamus!

My highest hopes this makes the difference. Long overdue. Loved the concerns regarding NOS, I've thought the same for years

We need alternatives to diagnostic labelling. Formulation offers this.

Need to add longer hospital stays for slower antidepressant withdrawal / detox. Include codes for antidepressant detox damage. I am allergic with anaphalaxic reaction to my paxil but withdrawal sympoms are worse (very suicidal) than what I started with. I need to get off safely but I don't want to be forced onto anything else.

Time to realize that the APA is in bed with Big Pharma and they decided that pills can change your brain chemistry and cure your problems. Besides, it enables them to MAKE MORE MONEY BY JUST LEGALLY SUPERVISING AND DRUGGING THEIR PATIENTS AND KEEPING THEM “SICK" while they up the dosage, lower the dosage, wean you off the medication and then start you on a new medication and up the dosage, lower the dosage...
