Address Increased Drug-Related Crime and Disorder in Acton Hill

It’s an increased issue in our neighbourhood and we don’t feel safe with our families any longer

Please protect our streets from drug crime

The situation in the area is unsustainable with constant car breaking, drug dealing and taking in plain site of children in the day and night. Drug dealers and users know there are no ramifications for their actions.

Our children, women and elder folk, deserve to feel and be safe in their community without intimidation! or harassment!

Please take action to keep our community safe for our families.

We have a drug issue on our street. There is a drug seller and constant drug users blatantly taking drugs on our street , on our bins and even from the pavement. Our kids feel nervous going out by themselves.

The police know who the drug dealer are. They just need to take action.

I am fearful for our children being mugged coming home from school such is the menace in our street. Our property seems under threat with marks/letters on our perimeter fence. Cars are often rifled through. The dealers don’t even seem to make any pretence to hide their dealing. It is as if Acton Hill has become the overlooked space by our local Police force: please don’t forget about us.

I completely agree. The open drug dealing and consumption is completely unacceptable in this residential area and needs to be dealt with.

I’m very concerned by the blatant selling of drugs and drug use on our street and the surrounding area. I regularly see groups of users on King Edwards Gardens, Hillcrest Road and Whitehall Gardens buying and taking drugs on the street. The issue is becoming worse as is the connected anti social behaviour. I’ve been verbally abused when just walking down the street which is intimidating. Our car has been broken into as have many of our neighbours cars. I worry about my safety and that of my fourteen year old son; especially at this time of year when we walk to and from home in the dark. Another issue are hazardous materials such as needles, syringes, wraps and gas canisters around benches in Twyford Gardens. This can pose a health risk to other members of the public, pets and wildlife. It’s deeply troubling that nothing seems to be being done to curb these crimes and that the problem is escalating. There is no sign of any police presence on these roads and in the park.

We need to feel safe again walking the streets!

Walking our neighborhood is no longer safe. I am frequently accosted by drug users near Whitehall Gardens and the Tesco Express.

I wholeheartedly agree with every word. It is frankly shameful that our local police and the Ealing Council are doing nothing to address this daily worsening situation.
