I’m fed up with the countless crimes in my area. It’s not safe here anymore. What can be done about it?

Concerned residents regarding the increase in antisocial behaviour, car crime and drug use on our roads. Unsafe for residents, young children to and from school and at night. Alarming amount of neighbourhood disturbances. We’re reporting this and demand a response.

We've had £6,000 of damage to our (parked) car overnight, and it has been ransacked several times. My 5 year old can't understand what "those strange men" are doing outside our front window as they share their drugs and loiter there duringthe day. Another group of shady men approach me every time I need to walk past them, with or without my baby. It's unbelievable that we have no CCTV, which is urgently needed throughout these streets, and no recourse.

Better lighting. Managment of drug addicts in streets. I have 5 teens and they (and me) all feel unsafe walking home

We have a young daughter and another on the way. The open use of drugs on our road makes me feel unsafe with my children. These people need help and being left to their own devices clearly isn’t good for them or for the community.

The whole of Acton has become a magnet for drug dealers and users

The degree of open drug taking and dealing outside Morrison’s supermarket is absolutely shocking. It has got much worse in the last year, to the extent that I do not feel safe walking through this area. I have seldom seen any police presence. It is very sad that our children are being exposed to this level of criminality, even on the school run. Please help us to improve these issues and make Acton a better place to live.

Crime is out of control in Acton and drug dealing and consumption is rife.

The drug trade in Acton affects our families' safety and drags down the general safety of the neighbourhood. Behind kids playground in Springfield garden, outside School back gates on Newburgh Road , Acton Hil, railway bridge pedestrian crossing, outside Mac Donalds, Acton Park etc. Surely something can be done...

We have had our car broken into 6 times and, most recently, an attempt to steal the car resulted in £2000 worth of damage. We have had 2 child car seats and a baby buggy stolen when we are sure we have locked the car. We have since paid to replace our key fobs, suspecting key cloning devices were used. In the last year alone, various stabbings, including one where a young man was stabbed in an unprovoked attack on Churchfield road in broad daylight with the victim leaving a trail of blood down our road as he desperately tried to return home, not to mention aggressive individuals checking cars most nights, using torches to spy into homes, some with aggressive dogs attacking other local dogs with seemingly no repercussions. These problems have escalated in the last 6 years since we moved into the area. We really need support from the police as it seems to be because we are an easy defenceless target.

I have two teenaged boys and there is definitely increased crime activity on the streets at the moment which is very concerning. We would all appreciate more police presence around our areas as it gets darker to deter any potential inclinations for crime related behaviour. Thank you in advance for your help
