Drop the Bay Delta Plan Lawsuit

Please drop the lawsuit. It is ill-advised and will result in degradation of the Bay and Delta.

We can get by with water conservation, but the fish cannot get by without river/delta water.

You want to guarantee water security to a growing population and economy. Please consider recharging groundwater with flood flows (fierce storms coming) and creating (way) offshore wind-powered desalination (droughts coming). Then and only then, will you have water security over the next 9 decades. Sacrificing the fish and Delta now isn't going to do the trick!!!!!!!!! Why lose it all?

The State Board's actions were responsible and legally required in order to keep our salmon fishery from disappearing.

The San Francisco Bay needs augmented water flows from our rivers to stay healthy!

The State Water Board's Bay Delta Plan reflects years of careful study and thoughtful planning. It deserves full support. Drop the lawsuit.

With only 21 % unimpaired flow, the river needs help that your lawsuit is opposing.

Water is precious, not just to the farmers, but to all of us and to the environment and all it supports.

No river ecosystem can be sustained at the flow rates demanded by Valley Water and the SFPUC. Their lawsuit is ill-advised and will result in a continued degradation of the Bay Delta-River system. Drop the lawsuit now.

As a native Californian, who had two grandparents in Farming in the Central Valley, I urge you to drop this lawsuit. Thank you.

The Water Board's Decision was made with the input of thousands of Californians over several years. Valley needs to get used to the revised plan and stop their cycle of hoarding and wasting water.

Four years ago I wrote a letter urging the Water Board to adopt the 2016 Bay Delta Plan and SED. My thinking on this has not changed. Water is a public trust resource, meaning that it belongs to the people. We need to make water for fish a priority- and a legacy for our children.

This is an important lawsuit to drop. Our rivers need their water.
