We need to help Haiti in the short-term and the long-term. Last year you helped cancel Haiti’s debt to the UK. We are now calling on the UK to lead the world in making sure that all of Haiti’s remaining $890 million international debt is cancelled immediately, and all emergency and development funds for the people of Haiti are given not loaned.

The momentum behind this call for justice is heavy and real. I am exhausted by the slow pace of change but seeing this level of support keeps me moving forward. We are not stopping until the debt is gone.

They need grants not loans. Helping them rebuild is the only decent thing to do at this point.
This is so overdue. People are suffering and losing their families while we sit here asking for payments. Do the right thing.
CANCEL THE DEBT NOW. They have enough to deal with just trying to survive.
Haiti has been through enough tragedy. Let them focus on the rebuilding process instead of paying back banks.
How can we even ask them to pay back money while they are literally digging for their lives in the rubble. It is honestly just shameful.

Ridiculous to keep charging them. Just wipe the slate clean already.
