No way he should be charged with child abuse! A motorcycle is a form of transportation! He did not abuse the child in any way! If anyone should be charged it should be the person that hit them!

Taking your child out for a ride on your motorcycle with the prope equipment is not child abuse.

If he has his license and there are no laws or restrictions saying that anyone her age can not ride then he didn't break the law. If he was hit I imagine he was being carful and it was the other persons fault. Further if no laws where broken and the wreck wasn't his fault then if anything the other car should be placed in child endangerment for not paying attention to the rode like the law requires them to.

In my personal opinion I think the charges should be dropped accidents happen every day and as long as the child was suited and geared properly that's not child abuse

I don't understand how it's child abuse? Children have been on the back of motorcycles since motorcycles were made. But the minute a car strikes and almost kills two people it's child abuse? When is that new? I was struck by a vehicle at the age of 17. Would that be considered child abuse? I was a minor ( with a motorist license) but I was under 18.

Too much government overreach , if he were driving wreck less then by all means prosecute. This is not that situation, the American people as a whole need to grow some balls and act like right.
