Sit down and meet with the elected representatives of the Turner
Field Community Benefits Coalition to sign off on a Community Benefits
Agreement (CBA). We do not want to see anymore local residents get
displaced from their homes.
OUR TUITION SHOULD NOT BE GOING INTO SOMETHING THAT WILL
HARM OUR COMMUNITY
I have been spending my time lately reaching out to local representatives to get this in front of the right people. It is overwhelming to see so many of you backing this cause when I truly just started this as a small effort to protect our neighbors.

This is just wrong. My tuition should go to education not destroying neighborhoods. Sign the cba already.

Stop pushing people out! This is their home and they have been here forever. GSU needs to do better by the neighbors.

A Community Benefits Agreement is a worthy investment for Georgia State University. Preserving the essential character of the community will not only embolden a stronger student culture, it would bring more citizens of Atlanta into the 21st century. As a public institution of Atlanta, Georgia State University can set a standard for community-involved development, and a growing number of students are realizing they deserve a university that is able and willing to commit to a binding CBA.

We must do the right thing. As a student I will not allow my tuition money to displace or harm others. President Becker please sit with The Turner Field Community Benefits Coslition and create a binding agreement so all parties can benefit from Turner Field Purchase.
