The momentum generated by this petition has surpassed my initial expectations. It is clear that many people find these comments regarding violence to be entirely unacceptable in professional sports media.

Fire Cris Carter, ESPN is the MSNBC of sports. One is run by the NFL and the other by the Liberal Democrats.

He is allowed to go on and on about getting a fall guy. This was practiced ahead of time and not just a mistake. His heart was not in the right place. His life is a poor example to these young players. Other white announcers have lost their jobs for using one wrong word or sentence. Hold him to,the same standard and get him off the air.
Piss poor example of a human being. "My heart was in the place." Meaning, I wanted to show these guys how stay out of trouble, but I didn't want the public to know what I said. ESPN sucks!
He's a terrible mentor/example to young,impressionable kids, he needs to go!!
Carter is a horrible human being. To think that the NFL would consider him to be a good mentor for young players shows their lack of competence. ESPN has suspended or fired many for less.
Fire him and I will continue to watch espn
