I think it's perfectly fine if a bra strap is showing its not a secret and seriously it's fine if a person has their shorts just a little bit shorter that we're suppose to have it.

A girls dress code is SO strict. Dress coding shows that what you're wearing is more important than education. And it's Texas, why would we want to wear jeans everyday.

As a girl I feel like we have to wear a blanket to school while boys can almost wear anything in their closet.

I think it's perfectly fine if a girl in middle school has a bra strap showing. It's no secret. There is no shorts that fit right and look good. I think that we should be allowed to wear shorter shorts and lacy/see through or racer back tops too as long as there is not a full bra showing.

This code is also in place in AISD middle schools and drove my daughter crazy. She could be the same size as someone else, same height, wearing the same shorts but only she would get coded because of her long fingers.

I think this is an amazing idea, as long as it is not abused. Bravo to Caleb and Lily!!

I very much agree that there needs to be guidelines for both the boys and the girls but common sense needs to be used. Focusing on the girls dress instead of teaching the boys respect and self control is doing all a disservice. Modest dress is needed for both and I feel that most of the girls parents will do their own realistic policing of their daughters clothing.
