This decision will devastatingly effect the student body of BSGE. Dr. Mandler has been a great teacher. Not only did he broaden my horizons in literature, he also showed individual care to each student that went above and beyond.
In addition, this will be a great loss to BSGE's talents. Dr. Mandler holds a PhD, which is rare among high schools in New York City. To many of us, he is a caring, intelligent and thoughtful mentor who we CANNOT and WILL NOT lose.

The administration has acknowledged the volume of signatures. I am currently finalizing a formal meeting request with the principal to discuss the budget rationale behind this staffing decision.

His class was the only reason I started liking literature. Please reverse this decision.
Are you kidding me? Cutting a teacher with a PhD is just stupid. Bring him back!!
We need teachers like Mandler staying at BSGE. Don't let him go.
Total incompetence by the admin. The students lose out every time they make these budget cuts.
Dr. Mandler is literaly the best teacher I ever had. School is gonna suck without him.
