Boo hoo. How about you try behaving or not skipping class or not swearing or doing what's expected of you and maybe you won't be on the receiving end of disciplinary action. Kids these days just don't own their actions, it's always someone else that's the problem.

She's targeted me many times passed two years, and I'm sick of it. I feel like other students who would do the same stuff I do like being late or swearing, anything like that they would just get away with it, but no when it has to do with me I get punished worse than most people in my grade and it's not fair at all. Please get rid of Doctor Avery

Let's be real, she has a stressful job. She has to govern a building of over 300 students. She won't be perfect. But let it also be know she has done numerous things that can be deemed unethical, unnecessary and down right wrong. For example, certain students including myself being denied rights given to them. I being a past student in the Williamson Senior High School, I have many experiences with Kate Avery. Since day one of her first day at the school I was directly targeted by her. No I was not the best behaved and no I didn't always show her the respect she deserved being that she is an administrator in the building BUT respect is a mutual thing. I speak for myself and many others (including parents) in that she could be down right nasty to people. Her demeanor was less than pleasant and although she has qualifications she doesn't belong in a high school. The job is not for her. She gives out discipline in a form that would only work effectively on younger children such as middle school students. She doesn't know how to handle the job she currently has. I don't want to see her lose her job but I at least want to see as many people express their opinions and feelings on this petition in hopes she sees it and maybe opens up he eyes. Dr. Avery if you are reading this, no hard feelings. I respect you but the student body as a majority wants change. Find a way for them to go into that building every morning ready and willing to learn...instead of entering the building with a black cloud hanging over their heads.
