WE ARE A REMOTE AREA OF RICHMOND COUNTY THAT MANY PEOPLE DON'T EVEN KNOW EXISTS. IT IS FRAMBOISE/STIRLING/FOURCHU. WE DON'T HAVE A STORE, A SCHOOL, GAS STATION BUT WE DO HAVE RESIDENTS AND THESE RESIDENTS DESERVE COMMUNICATION.
SIINCE JAN OF THIS YEAR THE RESIDENTS OF FRAMBOISE/STIRLING HAVE HAD THEIR LANDLINES OUT OF SERVICE MORE THAN IT HAS BEEN IN. WE HAVE A GREAT MANY SENIOR CITIZENS IN THESE AREAS AND WHEN THESE PHONES ARE OUT, THERE IS NO 911 SERVICE FOR THEM IF NEEDED. IF THERE IS AN ACCIDENT, THERE IS NO 911 SERVICE AND YOU WOULD HAVE TO TRAVEL 15 MINUTES IN ONE DIRECTION AND 30 IN THE OTHER TO GET TO A PHONE WHERE PEOPLE MAY NOT HAVE THAT TIME TO SPARE. THERE ARE VERY CAPABLE MFR'S IN THE COMMUNITIES BUT WITHOUT BEING ABLE TO BE DISPATCHED THEY ARE NO GOOD TO ANYONE. WE HAVE HAD A RECENT RASH OF BREAKINS IN THE AREAS AND HAVE BEEN ASKED BY THE RCMP TO CONTACT THEM IF WE SEE ANYTHING OUT OF THE ORDINARY, HOW CAN WE DO THIS IF THERE IS NO SERVICE. IN THIS DAY AND AGE AND WITH THE AMOUNT OF MONEY WE ALL PAY TO ALIANT, WE DESERVE THE SERVICES WE PAY FOR AND WE ARE NOT GETTING THEM. WE DRASTICLY NEED A CELL TOWER PUT IN THIS AREA FOR THE SAFETY OF OUR CITIZENS, THE TOURISTS, OUR PROPERTY AND EVERYONE WHO MAY BE TRAVELING ON WHAT YOU CONSIDER "THE FLEUR DE LIS TRAIL"

Scary to think what would happen in an emergency. Need cell service out here asap.
Living out here is a nightmare when the lines go down. My elderly mother lives alone and we worry sick every time there is a storm. Fix this already.
Its 2018 not 1950. How are we supposed to call the police if someone breaks in? We are completely cut off out here.
About time someone spoke up about this. Framboise is totally forgotten by the big companies but we pay our bills just the same.
RIDICULOUS that we pay full price for service that literally never works. We need a tower now before someone gets hurt and can't call for help.

Travel this road all the time for work and its terrifying knowing you have zero bars if you slide off the road in winter.
