The council finally reversed their decision and the Drag City project is back on track. This has been a long and draining fight but seeing the agreement restored makes the struggle feel worth it. I appreciate everyone who stayed with me through these seven years of uncertainty.
It has taken 7 years for the Drag City project to get to a point where it needed to be in order for it to become a reality in the city of Banning. I want the City Council/Community Redevelopment Agency to reverse their decision to terminate the master agreement, that has killed the project on October 23, 2007. It is my belief that the City did not consider the recently submitted Economic Impact report that verified that the Drag City racing facility would have a $23 million dollar impact on the community every year. I support the Marocco\'s efforts to make Drag City a reality. I would also like to race or spectate at Drag City once it is completed. Thank You for your reconsideration.
Reaching this level of support reminds me why we started this fight in the first place. This path has been exhausting and long but seeing so many of you insist on this project keeps me going. We are not letting the council off the hook for ignoring that report.

Banning needs this bad. Nothing for us to do here and we lose so much money to other towns. Bring it back.

Total joke that they killed this. 23 million a year is no small number. Build the track!
