Pavel's classes were the best I've taken. He's really passionate about his work and that really shows in his teaching. He makes sure everyone has an understanding of the material and is always open to questions. I would take another class taught by him in a heartbeat.

He genuinely cares about each individual student's learning progress and understanding of the material. He has a sincere excitement for the subjects he teaches, and that makes learning from him uniquely enjoyable. I felt like I had a thorough understanding of the course material due to his teaching style.

Pavel's class was one of the best courses I've taken in college because of his teaching style. His lectures were always well thought out with plenty of examples and different approaches. He left us with the most important points at the end of class. Each lecture started with review and he was patient with us until we geniunely understood the material. He made a point to learn each student's name the first day. He makes every effort to be available for questions and review of course material. It is clear that he enjoys teaching which made his class enjoyable.

He has been one of my favorite professors in college. He is kind, patient, understanding, intelligent, empathetic, and prepared. He made differential equations as easy as possible to understand, but let you try to get there if you could. He never, ever makes anyone feel stupid for asking a (perhaps obvious) question, and seems genuinely to enjoy teaching.

Pavel was one of my first teachers at Drexel, and as a senior I can say that he is the best I have had, and I have had a lot of phenomenal teachers. Pavel had an excellent balance of helping us understand material when we were confused, while giving us enough information to have jumping points for us to arrive at our next topic ourselves. This allowed us to fully understand the material because in a way, we figured it out on our own. He taught us and also helped us teach ourselves.

Pavel was one of my first teachers at Drexel, and as a senior I can say that he is the best I have had, and I have had a lot of phenomenal teachers. Pavel was a phenomenal teacher. He understood all the material he taught regarding linear algebra and differential equations. When student's didn't understand something, he wasn't unfair. He would take a step back and take the time to re-explain things and emphasize what was important. Overall, a great person, funny, and very helpful as a professor.

Best professor I have ever had. The fact that he is so prepared for whatever you throw at him is amazing. He is the reason I added a math minor because I feel he inspired me in the field of mathematica. By far without a doubt the best teacher in Drexel in every category.
