I was looking at the screen and realized how far this has moved and honestly my head is spinning a bit because I never thought it would get this kind of traction so quickly. It really feels like people are finally noticing how crucial this change is for the hospital and honestly seeing all your names pop up has been such a wild ride.

Dr. Khanna is an excellent clinician, mentor, cardiologist and an exceptional individual. He stands as an inspiration and a role model to several residents and fellows like me. He has dedicated himself to teaching and has trained several successful cardiologists. I owe majority of my cardiology knowledge to his passionate teaching. He has constantly inspired me to be a better clinician. He is the best choice for the Chief of Cardiology at Coney Island Hospital and will probably be the best thing that has happened in recent times towards patient care and physician education at Coney Island Hospital. In good faith for Coney Island Hospital, I genuinely and wholeheartedly support this petition for Dr. Khanna to be appointed as Chief of Cardiology at CIH.
As a nurse in CCU since 2012, I strongly support Dr. Ashok Khanna to be the Chief Cardiologist at CIH, because this is the best possible choice to provide expert cardiac care to our patients, bring back professional and effective communication between all the department staff, restore continues professional education on a daily basis. Thank you.
Only attending that actually cares about the residents education. A true Clinician!!!
Dr. Khanna is one of the best clinician, great cardiologist, teacher, mentor I ever worked with. We were fortunate to have him as our chief of cardiology during my training. I support this petition without reservation. Cardiology fellows would benefit a lot including hands on procedural training and teaching. Good luck.

Dr. Khanna is true gem. He is the reason I am cardiologist and a very damn good cardiologist today. A very humble man. A man of integrity. True role model. I have and many teachers in my life but very few “GURU”. He is one of them. He has nurtured (not trained) many many fellows and changed lives of thousands of patients if not millions. Coney Island hospital would be at great advantage if he is the leader. I can go on and on like this but billion words would not be enough to describe Dr. Khanna. God bless him.
