I am calling on the Long Island Railroad to remove the unsightly freight train cars that are often stored on the Deer Park Avenue overpass. The train cars, stored by New York & Atlantic Railway under an agreement with the LIRR, are covered with graffitti and highly visible from Deer Park Avenue. The storage of these vehicles in the heart of Deer Park's downtown is simply not acceptable. The trains must be permanently removed.
