I'm greatly disappointed at the board of the Blue Plum & the greed & secretivity of certain businesses to try to harm many other LOCAL businesses downtown. It's disgraceful, appalling, & certainly not supportive of the spirit of "shopping small." There's enough room for everyone at the table.

The festival brings much needed energy and life into our downtown area. Our merchants and businesses have been there from Day 1. We need to support them!!

Keep the festival in Johnson City' s downtown business district with potential extension to Founders. I think too much traffic in Founders would be very hard on the plant life.

The Blue Plum festival should include all of downtown: from South Roan Street to Sevier Street, all of Main, the business therein, and the new farmer's market and Founder's Park. The festival should be free, with wristbands for beer that festival attendees can buy from businesses downtown and/or the festival itself in order to help better maintain a balance. Having downtown open is a huge reason many people love this festival so much, so why not have the best of both worlds? Do both!

I used to be the Executive Director for the original DJCA back in the 80's and we had several events downtown. I cannot believe Blue Plum would do this!

support small local companies keep it in the streets . If I have to pay to get into my city park my taxes already paid for I'll find something else to do.
