Expanding to Founders Park would be fine, but moving the entire festival there leaves downtown businesses in the cold. Bad move!

It would be great to see something new downtown. Johnson City has a rich country, folk, and bluegrass background, but we also have a tremendous amount of talented musicians that stretch across a range of other genres. I've wanted to organize something that more accurately represents Johnson City's music and arts scene for a few years, because I felt like our city needed it. Blue Plum is a fantastic festival, but we don't need a carbon copy to see it succeed. Just my two cents. Thanks!
