The horse teams are part of what makes the Isle of Man unique - do not destroy this part of our heritage

The trams must not just be got rid of. A review of operations and use I accept time to move the rails off the caridgeway and let a charity take over the running as enthusiasts no cost to local or central government

this just cannot happen it is so upsetting and wrong and has been handled in the worst way possible with zero public consultation. I have been a Manx resident all my life and adore the horse trams as do my very small children and we go on them every day in the summer. You can't let this happen it's horrendous for the island.

This seems a ridiculous decision. This distinctive piece of Manx heritage should be preserved, not done away with callously.

The horse trams are a unique attraction that has far more value to the Isle of Man than ticket receipts alone. It MUST be preserved.

Keep the horse trams....it's not all about balance sheets, more consideration should be given to the Invisible earnings, tourism and the unique attraction of the trams.

We shouldn't let our heritage disappear. The horse trams are what the visitors see when they get off the boat. What is next to go? The MER? The steam trains?

This is the usual penny pinching without looking at the bigger picture regarding tourism and our heritage

It seems to me that this stinks of getting rid of heritage for the sake of it. I can't help myself from believing this was sacrificed for the sake of the prom redevelopment. I can hardly wait until the freedom of information act comes in.

This is part of the heritage of the island and should be supported and promoted for both locals and visitors. The town is busy for parking in the summer why not make a park and ride from summerland to town.

if we let this be taken away from us what will they take next. these people are not business men making decisions for the isle of man , they are greed fed cowards who are only interested in them selves and their pension pay outs
