Douglas Horse Tramway To Be Scrapped - Manx Residents Petition

Horse trams should be national heritage. It appears that the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing - such incompetence!

The Isle of man will never be the same if these are scrapped. Islanders and tourists feel these are part of our heritage and a valuable asset to the Isle of Man. The tourist industry as a whole will be affected. There must be a way to keep them plodding along.

Please keep the horse trams running

Were will all these cut backs end ?

Sort the government pension fiasco out and use a small amount of savingsfrom this to keep our heritage alive

Please keep this important part of Manx heritage and culture for future generations to enjoy.

And while we are at it stope sending the VAT receipts back to the UK.

I have always loved and supported the horse trams and was hoping to take my baby son on them for his first ride this summer. Heartbroken at this sudden decision

This unique world heritage attraction should be retained for future generations. It is a part of Manx heritage and although we don't live in Douglas we would be willing to fund its continuation.

Why not get rid of the steam and electric trains as well and stop the T.T. And put up a closed sign for visitors wanting to come to the Island
