The Horse Tramway is a must for ANY visitor to the island - same as the MER, The Steam Railway, Groudle, and other attractions. If this tramway is scrapped then the Manx Gov. are shooting themselves in the foot.

This is part of the history and heritage of the Island and must be saved for future generations. At least do not sell off the rolling stock and keep the lines. Don't make the same mistake as railways and tramways and destroy the infrastructure.

Has the Douglas Corporation fully analysed the likely loss of tourist income generated by such a unique attraction and the multiplier effect of tourist income throughout the island? Other places in the world have spent many millions restoring attractions that were closed down by previous administrations.

My sister and I love to visit The Isle of Man mainly to see the tram horses and The wonderful horse sanctuary please retain

A terrible shame the Horse Tramway is a fantastic part of your islands rich heritage and the decision I suspect has more to do with money greed and those that want to get from one end of the prom to the other 10 seconds quicker!
