I object to closure and how it currently is as it is more useful as a link between the ferry terminal and the electric tramway for tourists and especially those with a disability

I was on a hurtigruten cruise which stopped at Douglas and could not have a ride on the horse tram and electric tram as i could not walk the distance to where it starts now

The horse teams are something unique to the IOM and it would be appealing if they were removed.

It would be criminal to remove this amazing piece of history and tourist delight. We love the Island and it's brilliant historical railways and tram way systems. A major draw for myself and family.

It is one of the best known features of the island, part of its history and exactly the sort of item that brings tourists in. It should be saved as it is.

This tramway is just as much a part of your island heritage and history as any monument, museum or percived 'attractions' It is such a wonderful sight when leaving the ferry, letting you know that you have arrived somewhere 'special'..somewhere where life doesn't have to be in 'the fast lane'...somewhere where people...matter...

I'm Manx & a resident in the island. I firmly believe the whole heritage transport system should be supported & maintained as it could play a far greater role in "marketing " the island. Don't let us throw away another brilliant asset as has been the case so often in the past.

This would be terrible if a unique form of transport was scrapped, I visited isle of man last year, loved it but mainly the variety of transport available for an island. Everyone associates the horse drawn carriages with your lovely island please be proud of your history and keep this going.

Please try to stop the city of Douglas from selling any assets of the horse tramway including the stables and car barn.

I've been coming to the island since the 70's and always enjoyed the horse trams and these should be kept going as a historic system as it will encourage tourist who will be spending money into the economy of the island. The Manx government should take it under there wing.

Horse trams running the full length of the Promenade is a unique feature of Douglas and the Isle of Man. Operation stopping short of the sea terminal (and effectively the steam railway station) robs the tramway of one of its "real" public transport roles.

The more Manx heritage you remove the more other holiday destinations become appealing. Castles, horse drawn trams, steam trains and the uniqueness off the islands country side must be preserved. Loose it and why would you want to visit the island. Pls keep the horse drawn trams alive.

As a horsetram driver with this system in the 1970's including the 100th year in 1976. I am horrified that a great transport Gem is going to be destroyed

I will never visit the island again if the horse tram is scraped or shortened.
