When we re located the dorp street market was the first market when had gone to . It was amazing to walk around with fresh air and see all the community together . Me and my husband also got to see the amazing stellenbosch old buildings. It created foot traffic for all the businesses. Cafes for example you could get a coffee and walk around the market . Get lunch after. We should keep the market the DORP STREET market

I am a art and craft artist selling my art at Dorp Street Sunday market l depend on selling my products at Stellenbosch Sunday market to look after my family. I have been trading there for the past 4 years. Since Stellenbosch Municipality blocked us from trading life have been hard for me and my family without any means of income. I think they took their decision without consideration of the traders and without offering us no other better place of trading. They should have consideration how many families are going to be affected. There is no other place for me to sell my products and earn a living .The STELLENBOSCH SUNDAY MARKET was my only source of income.
