When Dorp Street market started I was running it and it was such a great pleasure working with this market and seeing the employment opportunities it provided for many people especially after COVID when many people lost their revenue and so started their own brands to survive. I believe in what they do and what they are doing are for the people of Stellenbosch. Stellenbosch will not be the same without the vibrant Sunday market.

This market is vital to small business owners as well as restaurants in the area that otherwise would not be seen!! Let’s celebrate our towns like the French brocante and make a statement how we can work to make a better SA!!!
