Thomson In The Park finally backed down and agreed to honor the wishes we fought for. Dorothy and Leslie will finally be laid to rest together exactly as they demanded. We forced them to do the right thing when they thought they could just ignore us.

The following names are family, friends of Les and Dot and those who are aware of this unfortunate situation. We would like to see their wishes concerning their ashes honoured. They made it known that they wanted their cremated ashes placed together in a niche at the Thomson "In The Park" Funeral Home & Cemetery located on McGillivray Blvd, Winnipeg Manitoba.

The massive surge of support proves that people are finally waking up to the cruelty of Thomson In The Park Cemetery. They thought we would just go away quietly while they ignored these final wishes but they were dead wrong.

Please just let them rest together. It was their last wish and it should be respected above everything else.
THEY DESERVE TO BE TOGETHER. Stop making this so complicated for the family.
This is just sad. Why is this even a problem? Put them together where they belong.
Do the right thing. It is not that hard.
I knew les and dot. They were great people. Just let them have their final resting place at the cemetery.
