I also think that buses and coaches should be stopped from coming up coldharbour lane from the town to drop children at the priory school. This causes massive congestion and delays as coldharbour lane cannot take two way traffic when something as large as a bus or coach comes up. Can the coaches and buses instead off load at the bus stop by the struggle?!

The traffic lights at pump corner are the cause of the whole problem

We need to be bold - all options considered - even looking at potentially removing walls, buildings, changing one way system - all options

The traffic in Dorking has become impossible and changes must be made to save the town!

I work in and around Dorking and the traffic can ruin my working day if it's bad enough!

Please consider replacing traffic lights at end of Vincent lane back to mini roundabout & removing lights at end of West Street & just have 1 pedestrian Crossway on pump corner to help ease traffic flow. Thank you

If you think it's bad now, just wait until The Priory School increase their intake by 40% as they intend to do in September 2017. Think of all those extra vehicles dropping off and picking up the extra 300 pupils every day joining the Vincent Lane traffic. Waiting with baited breath to see what solutions to the increased traffic SCC will propose. Hope everyone is keeping an eye on MVDC planning otherwise it's going to pass by default and we will be host to the biggest car park in the country.

The congestion from westcott to dorking is appalling, a 7-10 minutes journey can often take an hour. Also Vincent road by Lidl due to parking on left hand side can cause traffic time sir up to half hour for a 2 min journey.

This is getting beyond a joke now, I watch or hear of my mother in law and the delays and gridlock it's causing just to pick up my brother in law from school. This is needs to be sorted..

Also maybe consider a yellow box scheme at the bottom of Vincent lane and people coming from Vincent block the junction so only allowing 1-2 vehicles from Westcott go when lights, are green.

The traffic in Dorking is a total joke. I now take a 10 minute detour because I know a 2 minute journey will take 30 minutes!!

The situation with congestion in Dorking needs addressing urgently. It's the traffic lights that seem to cause most of the problems.

I may have left Dorking but I do not want to see it seized up with traffic. On visits we have sadly encountered problems and particularly coming into the town at the London Rd/Ashcombe Rd junction. I remember when Vincent Rd was 2way; I can't see how returning to this would help.....
