Unfortunately it is too late this town is dying on it's feet. The problems started getting worse when they began the building works at Waitrose and not recovered since .

The situation is getting worse and needs to be addressed asap particularly if the Priory school is expanding.

Something needs to be done urgently. I'm amazed this hasn't been reviewed before now. A few simple measures would change the flow of traffic dramatically

Enough is enough. Dorking is causing anger among lovely people because of the frustrations of gridlocked traffic and it's killing our beautiful town

I am a local resident and am frustrated with the current traffic situation and am totally against any further development projects such as school increasing, without due consideration to the traffic!

I don't think the Waitrose lights are a problem but the West St ones certainly are unnecessary and time consuming.

Junction of Vincent Lane and Westcott Road is of particular concern in my opinion.

Roundabout at bottom of Vincent Lane. Traffic allowed to go up Junction Road to cut out Pump corner. Absolutely no parking in high street and Vincent Lane.... need I carry on........

Traffic congestion has been a problem in Dorking for more than 40 years. Various schemes have been tried in attempts to cure it, and failed. The biggest failure has been the system that is in place at present. It simply does not work for many reasons, and it is responsible for the tremendous congestion we experience on a day to day basis. In order to save the town of Dorking, the Council must face up to the responsibility it has to the people, the traders and the tourists, by carrying out a thorough study to find and implement a cure for this problem

About time the council stopped burying their heads in their hands and hoping this problem will go away.

Ridiculous that there has been no action. I drove through Horsham Road a few weeks' ago and was appalled at the blocking on the left side and had to wait a while before there wasn't any traffic coming through. Drivers take risks trying to get through! So dangerous.

It can take longer to leave Dorking than to drive to Banstead on some days. There MUST be a solution to this situation. Angry and frustrated drivers are not safe drivers!

Please also consider the street parking on Horsham road which severely impacts traffic flow. The road there is effectively a single lane and it's also on an end, which means one can enter at one end, to discover a bus entering the restricted stretch, at the other. Result: empasse!

There is a planned expansion to the Priory School. No traffic plan has been forthcoming. Council tax has risen again and nobody bothers to listen to any concerns of local residents! A ridiculous state of affairs.

No words, wouldn't know where to start complaining about SCC and the appalling decisions they make on our behalf with our money! Maybe behold our council tax payment!

Totally fed up with congestion on Westcott road and the slightest thing makes it worse
