Getting to work can vary between 10 and 40 minutes there never seems any logic to the pattern other than lidl traffic on friday morning - the high street should be double yellow between pump corner and the post office as a single car either side can cause huge congestion

our town is dying due to the traffic, something needs to change. for a start we should go back to a small roundabout at the bottom of vincent lane, when the lights are broken the traffic runs a lot smoother

Traffic is a nightmare. Especially on Saturdays. Something must be done or the town will die. The one way system doesn't work. The traffic lights are overdone and cause jams. Get rid of the lights at Waitrose or pump house corner

Fairly easy solution. Get rid of traffic lights by waitrose, change the sequence of lights at bottom of Vincent lane and stop inconsiderate parking on high street!!!

Dorking Town traffic has become intolerable. The result is people try to find ways around it, which gets met by "calming measures" on the back roads. What is needed is to make the main roads better able to cope so people don't try to cut through. Dorking gets jammed up from every direction on a normal day, if anything untoward happens... You will never attract any decent business with such horrendous traffic. No one wants to go there!!

While the West St area is a problem at the other end of town the Tesco's entrance is an accident black spot and traffic congestion hazard. Traffic often queues back to Brockham but is clear between Tesco and the Deepdene roundabout.

It regularly takes 35 mins plus to get from Hampstead Road to Reigate Road. The lights at Pump Corner and Denbies View just don't filter the traffic properly. It's getting beyond a joke.

We are suffering from a lack of vision 15-20 years ago in regards to the road system and incompetence regarding traffic lights systems now.

Nothing seems to change, I have to commute daily and have been for over five years to Holmbury St Mary from Croydon and some days it can be unbearable. Please do something to solve this ongoing issue.

Start with widening Vincent Lane, to allow for queuing traffic at Lidl not impeding the through traffic and replace the old zebra crossing at Pump Corner, scrapping the lights. Drivers always let pedestrians cross and the traffic flowed much better.

I live in West Street where traffic and pollution is horrendous. All of Junction Road should be made 2-way so that Waitrose and South Street traffic does not have to go all the way round Pump Corner. Through traffic to the A25 should not be allowed to exit from the High Street - they should go round Ashcombe Road perhaps - have a school crossing installed for the Primary School.
