I have been a local resident in Cropley Street for about 12 years. We have endured disruption in the form of building works and (particularly) heavy industrial vehicles for the majority of this period. The time has come to stop the works and let the dust (literally) settle so we can enjoy our homes and the amenities in the area without disruption. The roads are not suited for HGV's - no, we don't want the roads widened, thankyou.

I am very concerned about this plan - we have already had many developments in this area including the new post office at the end of Eagle Wharf Road and am very concerned about more disruption for residents and school children in the area.

This kind of development is too much for this neighbourhood.

We don't want anymore disruption on Eagle wharf road. This is a small road with a large community and schools in the area. We don't have the space or the means for the level and term of this disruption. Not to mention the businesses that will be affected.

Put simply it's just not the greatest location. Let's not forget the local police station at the top of Shepherdees walk, use Eagle Wharf road as a common route. With the fairly new barclays bikes installed narrowing the roads even more, this potential scenario echo's chaos

This area has become far more residential with a number of bocks of flats been built on this street and in the local area. This is dangerous given the residential nature and noise, traffic, vibration to local large numbers of local residents.

I live in Shepherdess Walk N1 7QD, the number of people in the local vicinity has rocketed in recent years with the intensive development of high rise luxury apartments. All traffic into Eagle Wharf Road comes up Shepherdess Walk and the house shakes every time a lorry goes up the road , I cannot imagine what it will be like to have a construction sight of this scale in the heart of this densely populated area. Already there is a high incidence of asthma and breathing problems in local children and my child is at school at Hanover Primary School which is just the other side of the canal- I'm devastated to hear the news of the proposals.

This site is in the middle of a dense residential area. It is an inaccessible site that requires travelling down narrow residential roads. It is very close to a school and overlooks a beautiful section of the canal. the impact of the construction work would badly damage the quality of life and health of the children and adults in its immediate vicinity.

This will negatively affect the area brining a lot of large construction traffic to narrow roads with a lot of cyclists

This is definitely the wrong place to have a crossrail. I have a family and there is a primary school close by which is extremely dangerous to start this kind of work! I am completely against this. Thanks Helen.

The noise of the reconstruction works across the canal have been going on for 5 years now and are just coming to a close. The thought of another 5 years is nightmare-ish. Please find somewhere else.

It's not acceptable to have this in such a built-up area. There is a community that lives here.

this petition is a bit amateurish. You need to pay for your own domain name. It will only cost a few pounds and then you need a better website name, that is very much shorter. Nobody will bother to try and type into their browser the long URL on someone else server www.ipetions.com.. please sit down think of a good name and pay for your own domain for ten years. Unfortunately that is what you are going to have to do. Thank you a local resident
