I haven't been out till closing time in years. Maybe not in his century. So what? Some clique (who are never out at 4am either) wants to dictate to the rest of us in ways that will erode our quality of life. Haven't we just gone through this with the degrading of the 198? Why not move on to something useful?

Stop wasting time on unimportant things. There's no basis to any claims. Let business owners make their money.

I don't see any good reason for changing closing times to 2 a.m.

I visit Buffalo 2 wks a mo during the summer months and love the late night club closing. I live in Miami for the same reason. All successful large cities (Miami, Vegas, NYC) have late night club closing times. Thats why many young people move/live downtown Buffalo! This will send the downtown backwards! You do this and Im done with Buffalo. I will spend my money in a City that cators to those who love late night clubs!

We're Buffalo. It's a drinking town with a sports problem. Change the time to 2am you take away what makes us special!

I live, work, and spend money in downtown Buffalo. I oppose earlier bar closing times.

Consider letting the subway run a little later too.

A lot of people don't get out of work until midnight and would like to enjoy a few drinks after work sometimes. 2am is not enough time for me to drive home, get changed, go to the bar, have two drinks and be completely sober by 2. Not fair. Keep it 4am. Plus, some people travel here to party with us because that's one of our perks! :-)

Most people are out of the bars by 2am anyways but if they need time to sober up why not just leave it open til 4? At least stop serving at 2, but open til 4 to hang around and sober up.

The people who live near bars, bought their houses for cheap (because they are located near bars). hurting businesses and labor force, while at the same time promoting binge drinking is not the answer

Growing up in this town I always knew of Erie county being one of the few places where we could stay out until 4am. Going to rochester and having them close at 2 I was very disappointed. I'm very happy I grew up where I did and could expierience this. Staying out until 4 is a staple of our community and I would love to see it stay that way.
