Close the bars at 2 am and I'll be leaving Buffalo.

I might not agree with what the young and dumb do in the middle of the night, but I'll support our local businesses to the end!

Some of the best memories made happen after 2 am. Just one more thing the government is trying to control use with.

Midnight. 2am. 4am. Does it matter? People will adjust and the issue will not go away. Keep it at 4am and let's not let politics take away another right.

some people get out of work at midnight and would like to still be able to enjoy enough time out at bars. what does it bother people who want to leave at 2? they can go home early.

I've traveled a lot and lived in 3 different states. Changing the time of closings is bad because it will only cause people to have less time to sober up. Or it will cause all the trouble to just happen a couple hours earlier. People who are dumb are going to do dumb stuff regardless of what time you tell them they cant. With bars open til 4 it keeps people safer by giving those people more time to sober up and drive.

Let the bars decide what if they want to close earlier. Enough with government over-regulations.

The logic and reasoning behind this proposal is absolutely absurd.

It should remain four am. I do not go out for drinks and clubs often but if i did i would not want to get kicked out at 2am.some of us work hard and deserve a night out to unwind and stay out until 4. Thank you

Please do not change the time. people will be forced onto the roads at earlier times thus creating even more saftey concerns. Also people will just try to drink more by the time its 2 and then continue drinking the beer that they bought on the way downtown changing the time does nothing but hurt bar owners that pay taxes and fees to the state this takes a total of 14 hours of the higher revenue generating times from these bars. i have a very good feeling that if this silly 2am thing happens you will see alot of bars close and the city will suffer because bars and restaraunts are just about all this city has for entertainment.

It is unethical for Buffalo to be closed at 2am. Bars make most of their money after 2am.

People in Buffalo have grown to enjoy late night weekends with our friends and family. Stop trying to take things away from the people. It's bad enough we have Cuomo running NYS.

Being one of the very few cities open until 4 is one of the draws of going out.

How can people that work in the service industry be able to go out ? Also, People will just start drinking earlier. Usually when I'm at a bar I'll stop drinking around 130 2 and hang out for the next couple hours. Now people will drink until the last possible minute and drive home right from the bars. More people on the road with drunk drivers. Changing the time won't help, if people want to get anialated,, then they will.
