We definitely DO NOT want this area to be rezoned. This is a single family home area and we do not want more people here that the school and streets cannot accommodate.

I would say install high density low income apartments of five stories with three bedrooms. You guys in the city have NOOO Clue about was is coming with all those liberal Democrats on the council and Mayor. There is a social justice mantra and a bunch of white people complaining about townhouses in their midst is the last thing these folks care about. They want diversity and inclusion so get ready for a huge section 8 refugee/ DC trash dump to be plotted in your neighbourhood. Its time to move.

The very idea of townhouses crammed into this neighborhood is against all common sense. Not only are the recent townhouses and multilevel apartment buildings crowded and poorly laid out, they are ugly. We used to have a lovely architectural symmetry and style in the city. Now it is just plain offensive in its ugliness. Driving past huge expanses of buildings with no trees, no green spaces, no play areas, no street parking is pathetic. Those new builds look like Stalinist era human storage facilities. They are not HOMES. I beg you, please do not allow rezoning to continue to ruin the peace and well-being of our citizenry. Preserve our neighborhoods and preserve our quality of life.

I vehemently oppose the rezoning for this housing development. I've lived within proximity to this area/setting for 32 years. I've raised a family here and am dismayed to see what has happened. It's overwhelmingly appalling to see how all of the green spaces have vanished due to housing development. Traffic, any day or time, is insurmountable and with the condominium complex adjacent to the railroad on Godwin will only worsen. Manassas has lost its historic appeal due to this outrageous buildout. I subsequently stand opposed to this endeavor.

This is an established neighborhood and should be left as such. We do not want or need development in long standing residential neighborhoods. This would serve to only enrich the builders and would not in any way be beneficial to the existing home owners.

we don't need any more townhouses! the schools are crowded enough as is, especially the high school. It's a very nice wooded area with walking paths and it would be sad to see more woods disappear so the city can cram more houses in a small confined area.

Entrance/exit onto Godwin is in a dangerous location due to poor sight distance. Entrance/exit should be onto Hastings for safety.

This is definitely greed of landowners at a time we’re talking about green space for the children. This will take away the “nature walk” that was dedicated and one which Round Elementary uses. Also, the global warming folks don’t focus on this but the more green and trees you take away has more to do with global warming than emissions from vehicles. This is a proven fact, just look at the major built areas and see how much snow falls. This is a bad idea all around. Greed!!!

Enough already with these high density shoe boxes cropping up everywhere. All woodland open space is being eaten up by development. Ever small piece of woods within the city, and the surrounding areas actually, is getting developed. Enough with greedy development

We don’t need the added traffic in this area. The schools are already crowded and there are plenty of townhomes in the area, including the ones that were literally just built in past year by airport. What kind of parking would they offer ? Many of the townhomes offer little parking which results in overflow on streets, which is not safe and unsightly.

We don’t need anymore homes built. Besides you will be destroying more animals homes. Also causing the animals to walk in neighborhoods for food and shelter. We already have this problem, now. After all, they were here first.
