Sad to lose such a good organization for the community and the opportunity for these young ladies to continue a sport they love!

This makes no sense. Why would SHA cut any rural female hockey teams when they are supposed to encourage/support/grow female hockey?

These young women should have as many chances as the young men to better themselves at hockey and taking away a team is lessening their chances because there is one less team. Are you going to do the same with teams like Beardy’s Blackhawks and Tisdale Trojans and is a team closer to Saskatoon wanting to get into the league. Don’t pull stunts like this on rural sask, show us more respect than that!

Enrollment is rising you need to increase capacity for excellence and to make accessibility a priority. Melville is an established sports excellence program of high quality. Please don't force young female athletes out of the province to find opportunities or drive them out of the sport that they love.

Female Hockey is a growing sport with tremendous scholarship opportunity! You don’t make cuts to the program, you try and grow the program with the understanding the girls are coming on strong! Prairie Fire Strong!

Just let the girls play. If you think you can or you can’t will always be right! I hope SHA and Hockey Canada just have some common sense for our kids/girl athletes in the region and throughout Saskatchewan.
