I am against the Town of New Fairfield's "Go it alone" strategy and would like to see greater collaboration with the CLA and other Lake towns.

This is the worst idea ever. Town of new fairfield should do a little bit of reserch. Buy a weed harvester instead

Although, the algae and other harmful chemicals/waise dump into Cabdkewood Lake. it should be left alone. Between the summer time boating fun, and also Anglers the should not be discounted. Although summertime on the lake is great, Anglers whom are a big part of the lake would not want there fishery to be damaged in any way, especially since this certain lake has one of the best Smll Mouth Bass fishing in the state of Coneticut. The lake should be left alone due to secomstances. There could possibly be a lot of unhappy Anglers and fish as well!!!!

How could NF BOS possibly, without so much as 1) discussing, or engaging NF residents in any decision, its funding (@ a total cost of $52,000) 2) alert or consult with the CLA or our other four partner towns. 3) Ignore basic ethical considerations by conducting such deliberations with outside parties in secret ....,,,over the course of many months Ever consider the application of chemicals to OUR lake ??

I have just learned that there is a plan, unbeknownst to me and my neighbors, that chemicals are going to be put in the lake north of the causeway. I live next to the causeway! It is 50' away from my dock! Can you guarantee me that we will not be at risk if we swim in the lake from my dock? Can you guarantee that fish won't be killed, or that my dog and cat won't be harmed if the drink from the lake? I want answers and I want them now! I'll sue the hell out of the town, and DEEP, if any harm comes from this action.

How can people charged with the best interests of the residents of the town of New Fairfield be so short sighted? The lake is a huge part of the cultural and social make up of our town and MUST be protected long term. This decision to disagree with scientifically noted information is not in the best interest of our citizens or those around the entire lake.
