I TOTALLY OPPOSE THE IDEA OF USING HERBICIDES TO CONTROL THE MILFOIL AND ALGAE IN CANDLEWOOD LAKE. NEW FAIRFIELD SELECTMEN HAVE NOT BUSINESS PUTTING CHEMICALS INTO THIS VALUABLE SHARED RESOURCE USED BY MANY CONNECTICUT RESIDENCES - NOT JUST NEW FAIRFIELD CITIZENS.

This would be very bad for the lake and would be harmful to the environment of its wildlife.

Another lake that is going to be adversely affected if the whims of the minority are allowed. The actions suggested here will destroy this magnificent fishery. Fisherman bring significant dollars to the communities around Candlewood lake. If the fishing declines the fisherman will head elsewhere to spend their money.

I've grown up on this beautiful place all my life. It's a shame to what it's become. We can do better for everyone that has yet to experience this lake, and enjoy it to its fullest potential. Candlewood Lake is one of the only things to do in these small towns over the summer! KEEP IT CLEAN!!!!!

Fish this lake when on vacation and have seen these same exact "treatments without warrant" ruin many great fishing lakes in Wisconsin.
