A full scentific study and a DEEP public hearing are required before any chemicals are released into the lake. Litigation will surely follow if you contaminate the lake with Toxins.

This will negatively affect the eco-system of the lake. Other, less toxic solutions can be used to achieve the same results.

Candlewood Lake is a huge tourist destination. A lot of people from New York buy weekend houses here and therefore bring in tax dollars. Also the small businesses surrounding the lake benefit from the people coming to spend time at Candlewood Lake. Lets keep it clean!

Our lakes, the wildlife, and the resources that are native to them, are vital, and must be kept as pristine as possible.

Please do not use pesticides in this lake & please stop the homeowners around the lake from doing so also...as I have witnessed several doing so already..

I lived on candle wool lake for years. It is so beautiful. Maybe you should contact vt. To see what they are doing with lake Champlain. To control zebra mussels.

I oppose the use of poisons in Candlewood lake. There are alternatives that will preserve the natural resources and fish species that live there. Anglers like myself who fish in Candlewood want to be able to preserve and pass it to the next generation. We must not dump chemicals in this lake.

Let's be kind to the beautiful creation of time and FDR. This lake, though man made was a part of the make work project and therefore an important part of our history. It's our job to preserve it!
