Stop sinking money into putting chemicals in are lakes and rivers. Instead start a better results stocking program for bass and introduce new bait fish species

Who cares about a little bit of seasonal algae if you put pesticides in candlewood you will destroy the environment, and what if any of that pesticide accidently drains into the soil or finds its way into a watershed for our own drinking water. DO NOT DO IT.

Chemicals in this lake will destroy the ecosystem and fishery. Candlewood is a top 10 lake in the country for a fishing destination. If this lake is destroyed buy chemicals the impact to the region will be effected monetarily. The amount of Money spent by anglers that visit this lake all year round will be drastically reduced.
These chemicals will kill not only weeds and algae it will kill ,plankton,juvenile fish, all the way up through the food chain. I'm TOTALLY against and chemicals put into waterways!

Chemical in water will never fix the problem but make so many more it will ruin the fishing it is one of the best fishing waters that CT has to offer plus I don't no about you I wouldn't want my kids swimming with all the chemical that want to put in it in my opinion it's a Very bad idea

It would be a shame if you where to destroy the best bass fishing lake we have in the state. Not to mention that the town doesn't own the lake only the shoreline to the lake. In my opinion it would be devastating to the other towns and tackle shops that profit from having such a healthy fishery.
