I am against herbicides in Candlewood Lake and also against one town acting unilaterally without the agreement of the other four towns affected.

It really upsets me to see this. This has been done on Lake like Winnipesaukee. It has destroyed that fishery. And for what????? So when someone builds a house on said body of water, they have a nice sandy beach?? This needs to stop.. Paul, next they'll be using a vacuum system with divers, to suck the grass, cabbage, or any other fish habitat that could be growing beneath the surface

please no chemicals.a lake is the way it is because of nature. swim at the beach. we dont need to kill off weeds so to make the best fishery the worst.

Vegetation is the most important source of habitat to maintain the ecosystem in our lakes. Agent orange does not belong in lakes

I have lived on and grown up very close to Candlewood my entire life. Its a shame to see a shared resource like the Lake being claimed by one town. Efforts should be made to actually regulate fertilizers and septic run off that cause the abundant milfoil and algae growth.

There are other alternative systems for solving weed issues. Herbasides would deviate the fish population and affect the fun activities on the lake.

I love fishing this lake and this will ruin the lake. Every time I have fished lakes after they have been treated for weeds the fishing has suffered terribly afterwords

Please do not destroy this marvelous lake with poison, especially for the benefit of many homes bordering the lake and the thousands of anglers who bring much income into the community.
