Stop the plutocratic domination of all the nicest places. It's destructive on so many levels. Decadence abounds.

As more and more houses are provided with special permits allowing them to build houses beyond the Sag Harbor zoning laws, we are left with a zoning law that does not protect and serve the community. Integrity is lost and environment is damaged.

I am opposed to requests seeking property waivers that are excessive and
change the character of neighborhood and endanger the wetlands.

I feel strongly this opposition to large should apply to the entire Sag Harbor school district. We are all part of a community which wants to maintain a rural environment.

This confirms my opposition to any approval of out-of-scale building in SANS such as the house planned for 48 Lincoln Street in Ninevah. The proposed house is inconsistent with the character and scope of the neighborhood. This inconsistency is reinforced by the Interscience Research Report, commissioned by the Village, which showed an average house size of 1400 square feet in the contiguous neighborhoods of Sag Harbor Hills, Azurest and Ninevah.

Bought in 2007 in Redwood. Contractors are demolishing the original 1960s homes and building very large sky high homes which dwarf most of the neighborhood. Deers have now been displaced which is a sin!!

Sag Harbor needs to preserve the village! McMansions are so UNCOOL. Do you really need a 4,000 square foot home?

We have already seen the unbridled demolition and out of scale expansion of historic homes on Howard Street. We must help preserve the historic scale of the SANS community.

This historic neighborhood should be landmarked and preserved as an important place, over development should no be allowed.
