An article and You Tube promotional video suggests that Florida State will be
unveiling a new version of the iconic Chief Osceola logo April 12 at the annual
spring game.
The most famous logo in all of college football about to be changed?? Our beloved logo on the way out? Say it isn't so!
Drastic changes like this should not be made without the input of the fans and supporters of Florida State University. We the undersigned like the logo just the way it is and urge those involved to listen to the people that have helped support and fund Florida State athletics for many years!

im still seeing so many people reach out because they really dont want to see our tradition get messed with. ive been trying to get in touch with the athletic department to let them know how everyone feels about these rumors. thanks for sticking with me while we wait to see what they actually do.

i honestly cant believe how much energy is behind this movement right now. its clear the school needs to hear us because our logo is part of who we are.

We are a school that prides ourselves on tradition. What is wrong with our current logo? Other big schools haven't changed theirs so sticking with tradition isn't a bad thing. I will NOT buy any merchandise with that hideous logo. It is embarrassing!
No reason to change the logo, and this one looks like a little brat Seminole instead of the mighty warrior Seminole.
There is no need to change the logo. There was no request from alumni and apparently no one sought input from alumni before setting out to change a well-recognized logo. This was a bad idea that was pursued in a flawed manner and produced a flawed outcome. Please drop the new logo idea completely.
I've been a fan since birth. I will never buy merchandise with the new "logo"... we're not Oregon, we're not Boise State, we're not a rising program. We're the envy of College Athletics, and you let Nike mess with it.
the original logo was designed in part as a tribute to a seminole icon, professor tommy wright. changing it is disrespectful to our university and the seminole tradition.
Stop changing perfection. You are ruining and disgracing the TRADITION and LEGACY of Florida State.

Sad FSU would change something so great without getting feedback. Smells like greed to make short term money with new gear. Will never buy anything with this ridiculous logo.
